That we left
I thought it was really bad that they charged us twice for city tax and will not return my emails.
Reasonably central to most places of interest
Not as close to the station as website suggests - several blocks down a slope makes it difficult with wheeled luggage. Mostly ignored by desk staff as a non-French speaker. Faulty ventilation delivered heat only. Complaints response was inappropriate: Öpen the window". Street noise was then very loud.
Close to the train station.
On the corner of two very busy streets. Bring earplugs or you will not get much rest through all the sirens. Elevator was broken and they were repairing stairs.
It was close to the station
I thought that the price of breakfast should have been included into the room rate. The lady serving us for breakfast wasn't exactly nice and cheery and this didn't really help the fact that we were paying seperately for this breakfast.
location, close to the old port and the center of town. breakfast was ample, much more than we expected. clean rooms.
Everything was good to stay 1 night in Marseille, the location and the staff of the hotel was great!
None. We did not enjoy our stay at all. Upon arrival, the male receptionist was a bit rude and insensitive and the car parking was dodgy(some potential thieves around the hotel). He did acknowledge the presence of thieves outside the hotel and warned us about them! We arrived late afternoon with plenty of daylight but got scared to go out because the sorroundings were filthy and dodgy characters can be seen waiting for victims. This is the city center location as they defined it on their website. The pictures on their website appeared cleaner and more beautiful but the reality is not the same.
Receptionist should be more sensitive to other cultures and be more polite. Be more realistic in advertising as the ads may not reflect the real situation and customer expectations may be higher than it should be.
Near the Gare St. Charles.Clean, tidy, basic, simple for an overnight stay. Staff helpful.
very bad welcome: the receptionist was trying to refuse to gives the double bed room we booked. He wouldn't tell why. We're suspecting he simply didn't want a gay couple to share a bed.
weak wifi in room unrenovated room
convinient location,early check in
Room was extremely small,in the wardrobein the corner the humidity had caused some of the painting to be falling
one lady at the lounge was very helpful.
The room wasn't like in the pictures. Very dark and there wasn't at all enough warm water in the shower.
The hotel was clean, functional and did what it said on the tin. Breakfast expensive for what it was. Corridors could do with a face lift but room comfortable and nice size.
Close to the railway station.
The furniture is old, and seems to be 20 years old.
The location is good, because you can reach within 20Min walking the Old Port with nice restaurants . Also Shopping facilities are quite close!
The hotel is located directly on the main street - 24 hours of noise - you cannot even sleep with the windows open ! The bathroom was grubby as well as the carpet in the bedroom !
